Jenny Wren is our delightful dog friendly holiday cottage near Brixham, sleeping 3 people in comfort. The accommodation enjoys an idyllic location with breathtaking views of the River Dart and the surrounding countryside. Situated on the edge of Galmpton village in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we enjoy a peaceful & tranquil waterside setting that is really convenient for Torbay and the South Hams. With 1 double and 1 single bedroom, this chalet bungalow is as well suited for couples as for small families – with the central yet tranquil location meaning that there’s plenty of flexibility to enjoy your Devon short breaks at whichever pace you’re most comfortable with. Jenny Wren is our own holiday home so you can be assured that the property is well cared for and equipped for a ‘home from home’ holiday. The furnishings and decor are stylish and comfortable, with excellent self catering facilities.

The fitted kitchen has been well appointed with a double oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, washing machine, kettle and toaster. If you fancy a break from the kitchen, there are 2 pubs to choose from within easy reach of the cottage. The lounge area is furnished with a leather sofa, tub chair and dining table and chairs. You’ll also find a 27” LCD TV with Freeview and a Blu-ray DVD player for your entertainment. To the exterior of the cottage, there’s a good sized sunny south facing patio area which is pleasantly furnished with a table and benches (with backrests) to relax and enjoy the view. We’re happy to welcome 1 well behaved dog at no extra charge, and with a pretty lawn area in front of the patio, Jenny Wren is the ideal place to relax and unwind for all our guests! There is 1 allocated parking space, making this a great base for exploring everything South Devon has to offer. We are on a small, quiet development of privately owned holiday bungalows in Galmpton, near Brixham, South Devon. Beaches are nearby – Broadsands at just over 1 mile, Goodrington Sands at 2.7 miles. Fabulous for walking from the doorstep – Agatha Christie’s former home, Greenway, is just over a mile down the road (now National Trust).

Beds are freshly made with crisp linen for your arrival, and 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel is provided for each guest.
