Weston Bay overlooks the historic Jurassic Coast, awarded World Heritage status the inspiring scenery and dramatic coastal pathways offer its visitors a fantastic journey through its unique landscape. The Jurassic Coast lies within the un-spoilt countryside of East Devon, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Its alluring sheltered beaches provide a wonderful secluded retreat for its curious visitors. Absorb the breathtaking views and mile upon mile of rugged cliffs, blue flag beaches, genteel seaside towns, tiny fishing villages and both pebbled and golden sands. Weston Bay itself occupies a beautiful elevated position and sits charmingly between the delightful Regency town of Sidmouth and the picturesque harbour of Lyme Regis; ideally situated for holidaymakers to enjoy the perfect entirety of what the area has to offer. Sidmouth's shingly bay is surrounded by dramatic red cliffs whilst the town itself offers a variety of charming old buildings, affectionately earning the title of "Regency Town by the Sea." In fact the town boasts in the region of 500 listed buildings. For something a little different then visitors are invited to the Norman Lockyer Observatory, perched on top of Salcombe Hill. Open to the public at least twice a month, there are a variety of events organised by the enthusiastic volunteers. Weston Bay Resort sits adjacent to Devon’s famous Donkey Sanctuary, a recognised tourist attraction, and can be found within walking distance of their main headquarters at Slade House.
Sleeping 6 guests, rooms at our attractive holiday lodge near Sidmouth include three bedrooms, a double en-suite and two twin bedrooms. The en-suite to bedroom one is a shower whilst the main bathroom has a bath and shower cubicle. Living space includes a spacious well lit living room with luxury leather seating, Freeview tv and patio doors to the outdoor patio area. Appliances in the kitchen include an oven, hob, extractor, fridge and a dishwasher. All utensils and accessories are included alongside a toaster and kettle. The dining table in the kitchen area has six chairs.
Our holiday lodge offers an idyllic rural setting perfect for touring the Jurassic coast and just a short distance from festival centre Sidmouth. The patio area featuring with the holiday lodge is a beautiful alfresco space equipped with attractive seating and table. Parking is also inclusive on-site for one car and we welcome one well behaved pet for a small additional charge.
