When you book a stay at the Woodhall Barns Holiday Cottages in Okehampton, you're sure to love what you get for your money. Modern, stylish barns set close to the Dartmoor National Park, in beautiful rural countryside, they're the perfect choice for family holidays, sleeping between four and eight people. On the site of Robin's Rest (sleeping eight), Owl's Retreat (also sleeping eight), and Swallow's Nest (sleeping four), you'll find a heated indoor swimming pool, a games room and a children's play area. Our cottages stand around a central courtyard, in 2.5 acres of land bordered by the River Okement, and they're suitable for groups with an on-site function room available for party hire, accommodating a maximum of twenty people. As guests at our Woodhall Barns, you'll have access to your own private patio, and to plenty of off-road space to park your car.

Our Woodhall Barns Holiday Cottages are set close to a traditional English pub - our first recommendation for a place to visit during your stay. The pub serves a huge selection of drinks, and a variety of meals, and if you're not in the mood for cook a quiet stroll to a meal prepared by someone else can really help you relax. We've a great choice of chain and independent shops locally, and you'll be within easy reach of some of Devon's best walking, cycling, horse-riding and fishing faciltiies during your stay. We're close to historic houses and country gardens, and under an hour from the sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho!.

All Woodhall Barns properties are modern and spacious, with stylish bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens containing a selection of appliances including a microwave, a cooker, a dishwasher and laundry facilities. Each cottage boasts a comfortable living room with a DAB radio and TV and DVD facilities, and our cottages offer comfortable bedrooms and family dining facilities as standard. Owl's Retreat and Swallow's Nest feature a wood-burning stove, for which we supply an initial bag of fuel, and in all properties we provide heaters, linen and towels.

A highchair, a travel cot and a stairgate are available in each of our properties for guests travelling with babies or toddlers. We provide quality family accommodation, and we're also happy to welcome one well-behaved pet in Swallow's Nest, and two pets in our other cottages, by prior arrangement.
