Abbotskerswell is a picturesque Devon village situated midway between the south Devon coast and the Dartmoor National Park. Torquay, Paignton, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Shaldon, Dartmouth and Blackpool Sands (a blue flag beach) are all within a short driving distance from Willow House. With an old charm, thatched roof cottages and a pretty village centre, which includes a local shop and post office, it is the perfect base from which to sample the many attractions that Devon has to offer. The village has 3 pubs: "The Court Farm Inn", "The Butchers Arms" and "The Two Mile Oak" and is very close to the market town of Newton Abbot which is 7 miles from Torbay. The county town of Exeter with its beautiful cathedral is 18 miles away. The historic town of Totnes is also close by. With its river meandering through the town centre, Totnes is described as "the small town with a big heart". It has weekly markets and beautifully quaint shops.
