Small And Friendly B&B Guesthouse Overlooking The Sea, Close To The Centre Of Ilfracombe
Montpelier B & B is a small and friendly establishment looking down over the sea and Capstone Point. You may choose to have a Continental Breakfast but why miss out on a fabulous Full English which has been described by guests as fantastic. Our local butcher provides excellent bacon and sausages from local produce. Fresh fruit salad and home-baked bread are made daily. Any special dietary needs can be catered for with prior notice.
There are plenty of excellent places to eat locally but if you prefer we can provide evening meals by prior arrangement. You are also welcome to bring in take-away meals and use our Dining Room facilities. The Lounge provides a relaxed atmosphere for reading or if you prefer a choice of board games are available. We have allocated parking spaces and as we are only a 2 minute walk from the High Street and a further 3 minutes to the sea front and Landmark Theatre it is convenient to leave your car safely parked. The beautiful harbour is also only a 5 minute walk as are many of the delightful restaurants and pubs.

Directions
From Junction 27 of the M5, follow the A361 to Barnstaple. Continue on the A361 following signs to Ilfracombe. On entering Ilfracombe from Mullacott Cross, go straight on at the first and second sets of traffic lights. Continue through the High Street into Portland Street. Take immediate first right into Hostle Park Road. Allocated parking is on the right part way up hill (second and third bays from top) and Montpelier B & B faces you approximately 50 metres further on the left (end of terrace). On entering Ilfracombe from Coombe Martin (A399) turn left immediately after Scarlet Pimpernel Garage (on left) into Castle Hill Road, then next right into Montpelier Terrace. We are the last house on left. To park turn right and take second or third bay on left approximately 50 metres down.
