Dawlish is situated in Lyme Bay in South Devon and has three sandy beaches. A stream cascading over a series of waterfalls runs through the town centre to the sea and is home to the famous Dawlish Black Swans which they share with a host of other delightful wildfowl all taking advantage of the picturesque park with bandstand, well appointed park benches inviting you, after browsing the nearby shops, to just rest and re-coup or watch the world go by as you spoil yourself with an ice cream topped with rich Devon Clotted Cream.
