Pebblebed House is located in the heart of the historic old port town of Topsham near Exeter in Devon. The house looks out over the River Exe and was once a riverside warehouse. The town, well known for its seafaring history, is developing a reputation as a centre for excellent local food and drink. The town has wonderful specialist food shops in addition to a range of restaurants and pubs serving the best in local produce. The town also offers a variety of amenities including a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a recreational ground with children's playground. The house is under the same ownership as Pebblebed Vineyard, located just outside Topsham. A complimentary vineyard tour and tasting is offered as part of your stay. The house does not have private parking. However parking is usually available close by, on Holman Way or in the nearby Quay car park, just minutes from the house.

The house itself sleeps up to eight people and is absolutely charming and beautiful. The house has a wonderful 'beachy' feel that is at once distinctive and wholly casual and relaxing. The house was converted from a warehouse at the turn of the century and retains an open feel with wood boards through most rooms. The lounge/dining room has good views of the estuary and the sofa and chairs are gathered around the wood burning stove to create a cosy feel. The kitchen is well equipped with all you are likely to need and is nicely finished with slate work surfaces.
