The Old Station offers a truly unique holiday experience in a historic location overlooking the town of Tavistock and Dartmoor. The station offers three affordable self catering apartments sleeping between four and six people in five star standard accommodation. Tavistock is one of the most delightful towns in the UK and is home to a Pannier Market, five days a week. Sir Francis Drake was born in the town and his life is celebrated in various ways throughou the town and in the local museum. There are many English Heritage properties and sites of interest nearby including Berry Pomeroy Castle, Grimspound and Lydford Castle.
The Porter's Office sleeps four people in one double and one twin bedroom, each with en-suite facilities. The modern country kitchen breakfast room has a wooden beamed ceiling and natural stone floor. The light and airy lounge has a vaulted ceiling and gallery landing with views from a dormer window. Bedrooms are located on two floors and the downstairs double bedroom was formally the Ladies Waiting Room and retains the original fireplace.
