The Fox and Hounds Hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of Dartmoor in the beautiful county of Devon. We have direct access to moorland via a trackway behind the hotel and our westward facing position allows for some spectacular evenings watching the sunset towards Bodmin Moor and Cornwall from the cosy comfort of the bars. The hotel is a very popular destination for walkers and day trippers to the moor and offers modern camping and caravanning facilities in addition to guest accommodation.

The hotel has a restaurant and bar menu and food is served all day, every day. The restaurant enjoys a good local reputation and all food is freshly prepared using the very best local produce. Our Sunday roast is renowned and booking is advisable. There are two bars, a restaurant, games room with pool and darts, beer garden and children's play area outside. Notably we have a skittle alley which doubles as a function room. It has its own bar and is available for booking for parties.
