The hotel, a stunning, listed Gothic building and originally a coastal retreat for the Bishop of Hereford, enjoys stunning panoramic views across the town to the sea and adjoins the National Trust coastal path and the Tarka Trail. A short stroll will take you to the main holiday beaches, the theatre, the town and the harbour. We are also in easy access to Barnstaple and the attractions of North Devon.

Our two star accommodation in Ilfracombe can provide facilities for business conferences. We can provide overnight stay to a residential business conference with a full programme of corporate activities. Our conference room is well equipped and our bedrooms and suites are well appointed for suitable confidential meetings. The Merlin Court Hotel also offers unlimited Internet access via your laptop or our guest accessible computer. We also offer full use of our office equipment. For those who are golf enthusiasts we are close to the championship courses at Saunton and Westward Ho! There are 10 golf courses in North Devon, all within 40 minutes of the hotel. Our holiday hotel also offers superb clay pigeon shooting at three local shooting grounds, all within driving distance. We also offer the unique 'South West Skittles Holiday Weekends' and includes a two course meal on Friday evening, hotel breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and a three course evening meal.
