A wonderful authentic Finnish Lodge was designed and built by Finnish professionals and is situated within Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc, a mere 2 miles away from Woolfardisworthy. Sleeping up to 8 people in three bedrooms this is a perfect base for those wishing to explore the beautiful Devon and Cornwall coastlines. Finished to an excellent standard, this charming, ground floor property is well equipped offering open plan accommodation with ensuite facilities and a delightful decked area, ideal for al fresco dining.

Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc within which the lodge is located is set in hundreds of acres of Forestry Commission woodland. On site activities include an 18 hole golf course - the lodge is situated adjacent to the first tee with uninterrupted views over the golf course to the open countryside beyond . There are also two fishing lakes on site. Permits are available from the club house. The small charming village of Woolfardisworthy is a mere two miles away along a quiet tree lined road and has a local shop, Post Office and a warm, friendly pub. The famous tourist attraction 'The Eden Project' is approx. one hour away from the lodge and the celebrity chef restaurants of Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein are also about 50 minutes away.

Rooms Description

There are three bedrooms - one double with en suite (shower, basin & WC) , two twin. Bathroom with bath plus shower over, basin & WC. An open plan fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. Crockery and cutlery are all included as are all cooking utensils . There is also a colour TV , video, DVD, CD/MP3/Radio. There is a dining area and lounge with two settees (one of which doubles as a sofa bed if more than six guests are present.) Thermostatically heated throughout.

On site golf course and fishing lakes. Penstowe Manor leisure facilities (included in rental) open all year except Christmas Day. Off road parking for unlimited number of cars . Enclosed decked area ( young children are totally secure within the railed decked area ) with furniture for relaxing or barbecues . There are numerous DVD's , videos , board games and a set of golf clubs provided in the lodge for guests . There is also high chair and travel cot available . Sorry - no pets and no smoking .
