At Lobhill Farmhouse just 15 minutes from Okehampton we’ve all the ingredients, perfectly blended, to ensure you have a wonderful holiday with us. Our accommodation is of the very highest standard, situated on the northwestern edge of Dartmoor in the wonderful setting of the Lew Valley. Guest rooms are all comfortable and beautifully appointed. We have a large garden, woodland, lake and a newly planted vineyard where you’re very welcome to relax and let the sunshine and scenery work their magic on you. And as for our food, – well be prepared for some mouth-watering delights! We cater for a variety of breakfast options and if you want a special treat we’ll arrange for Cream Teas in the summerhouse on arrival.

All the rooms in our charming farmhouse are extremely comfortable, spacious and nicely designed with an airy, contemporary feel. We have three guest rooms, a king size en-suite room with a balcony which looks out over the garden and woodland, a double en-suite and a double/twin/family room which is also en-suite will sleep up to 4 people. The family room is downstairs and has level access throughout. Our newest room, The White Room, is contemporary twin with stylish ensuite shower room which offers lovely views over the vineyard & Lew Valley. For your convenience wireless internet access is available and to make your stay more enjoyable a complimentary lift to local restaurants can be arranged.

At Lobhill we’re in the enviable position of being just 10 miles from the Devon/Cornwall border so all this stunning beauty is right on your door step from glorious Dartmoor, just 3 miles away, to tranquil St Ives, a wonderful day out. And finding things to do in and around Tavistock really couldn’t be easier, as there are lots of attractions and places to visit just a stone’s throw away. We’ll be happy to give you all the information and advice you need for exploring the area.

If you want a self catering alternative in this beautiful area we can also offer a stable converted into a cottage for 2 people. It comprises of a double or twin room with en-suite facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment), washer and a dryer. The lounge is spacious and tastefully decorated with a TV and DVD player, radio and CD player. Visitors are welcome to choose between an English Breakfast or an Afternoon Tea welcome basket.
