Welcome to Webworthy Down Farm, providing self catering cottages ideally situated for Exmoor and Dartmoor. There are two cottages available for holiday let; Rose Cottage and The Linhay. Rose Cottage is a stone built cottage attached to the farmhouse. The Linhay is a barn conversion recently refurbished overlooking the orchard. They are set in the beautiful Taw Valley on our farm. They are both beautifully furnished and very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay, whether it is walking, tennis on the grass court or watching your neighbours; the pigs, sheep, pony and chickens.

The cottages are both within good distance of Dartmoor, Exmoor and are a great base from which to explore the whole of Devon. There is plenty of opportunity for walking, with public footpaths, the Tarka trail and Tarka scenic railway nearby. A local hotel will arrange salmon, sea and brown trout fishing in the nearby River Taw and game shooting is also available.

Rooms Description

Rose Cottage has panoramic views from the garden across beautiful fields and wooded countryside. It has a modern, newly refurbished interior and is tastefully decorated and boasts charming furnishings. The Linhay is a recently refurbished barn conversion suiting a couple needing a relaxing break. This stone barn is set in an apple orchard , a private and tranquil space. The interior is full of character, without sacrificing modern convenience, and finished to a high standard. A woodburner to sit by, birdsong the only noise to wake you. This is the perfect romantic retreat. The airy and beamed living room is comfortably furnished.

Pets and dogs welcome. A very quiet location. See the stars,no light pollution! The cottages on a farm with sheep, pigs, ducks chickens, and geese and not forgetting Dolly the pony.
