Once the grain store and engine house at Trenchard Farm, it has been stylishly refurbished to provide superb accommodation, with its own garden and patio area. The cottage is full of character and charm with high beams, stonework, slate and wooden floors. Granary Cottage sleeps four people plus 1 on the settee bed in lounge. It is situated in idyllic surroundings perfect for a holiday retreat for those wanting to explore the area, within easy reach is Exeter, Barnstaple, Dartmoor and Exmoor. An ideal holiday location to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline. The scenic Tarka line is 1 mile from the cottage. Travel to the historic city of Exeter, with Cathedral, Roman ruins and new shopping centre, or the unique market town of Barnstaple.
Granary Cottage is within easy reach of an array of leisure activities. There is plenty of opportunity for walking enthusiasts such as the Tarka Trail which goes through Trenchard Farm. We can provide rough and driven shooting days at the farm . Nearby is the River Taw an excellent spot for fly fishing especially brown trout, salmon and sea trout. There are many pursuits for all ages such as golfing, beautiful Nt & RHS gardens, horse riding, local children's play area and cycle paths. Brilliant surfing on the North Devon Coast.

The bathroom, shower room and twin bedroom are on the ground floor and the double bedroom room on the top floor. Central heating. Logs provided during the winter months. Duvets, bedlinen, towels and tea towels are provided. TV, CD, DVD player, washing machine & hair dryer.
