Stunning Barnacle Cottage is a peaceful 16th Century Stone cottage surrounded by South Devon countryside and woodland. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Galmpton, this holiday cottage is just a short walk from the River Dart Creek and borders both Torbay and South Hams. The coast is approx 1 mile away and the historic fishing town of Brixham is within 3 miles. Guests also have easy access to glorious Dartmouth via a short car ferry ride and the award winning Broadsands sandy beach is just over a mile away. Galmpton has many amenities including a general/post office and shop and the local pub and restaurant is exactly a half a mile from the cottage. Agatha Christie fans also have easy access to Greenway House (National Trust), once residence to Agatha Christie.
Barnacle Cottage offers attractive and comfortable self-catering accommodation for 3/4 people. For evenings in, there is a large TV with Sky in the lounge (Freeview box in the bedroom), DVD player, mini disc/radio player, games and books. Linen and towels are provided and night storage heaters are available for chilly days. Electricty is inclusive and well behaved pets are welcome. Guests will love the huge garden area with BBQ behind the cottage with it's own side entrance. The owner is on hand next door and offers use of washer/dryer in separate utility room.
