Burton Farmhouse is a four diamond rated fifteenth century property offering luxurious bed and breakfast in the South Hams of South Devon. The farmhouse is set on a 325 acre working farm which raises Polled Dorset and Suffolk pedigree breeding sheep. The farmhouse lies in a countryside setting not far from the sea in the hamlet of Galmpton, just a mile from Hope Cove. There is something for everyone in the surrounding area and the local sailing centres are world famous. The beautiful estuary towns of Salcombe and Kingsbridge, stunning beaches and coastal walks are also to be found within easy reach.

Our restaurant is open all year for evening dining, afternoon cream teas and Sunday lunches and enjoys a fine local reputation for its hospitality and fine dining. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets are all catered for. The Farmhouse is a much sought after venue for weddings, civil ceremonies and receptions and we offer an intimate and informal atmosphere. We have three approved ceremony rooms and can cater for 54 in our restaurant, 120 sit down or 200 buffet style in the marquee and provide ceilidh evening and hog roasts in our heated big barn.
