The Dorchester is a four star family run licensed guest house in North Devon family holiday hotspot of Ilfracombe. We offer a welcome and level of service second to none. We have private parking available and are ideally situated only about 5-10 minute walk from the sea front, town centre and the famous blue flag Tunnel Beaches. The Dorchester is an ideal touring base from which to enjoy the sheer beauty of the North Devon Coastline and Exmoor National Park. The stunning sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands are just a 5-10 minute drive away and popular with surfers and families.
Ilfracombe is an attractive town with plenty of entertainment for visitors of all ages. Guests will find the theatre, golf, tennis, horse riding, quad biking, and fishing within easy reach, all of which we would be happy to arrange and pre-book for you. The Lundy passenger ferry departs from Ilfracombe harbour on a regular basis, and at The Dorchester we are happy to prepare you an early breakfast to cater for this, or any other excursions. Packed lunches for your days out are available upon request. We pride ourselves on our delicious meals made using fresh local produce and are only too happy to cater for special diets.

Each of our tastefully decorated rooms are en-suite and we offer a choice of family suites, premier double rooms and double rooms. All rooms are fully equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a colour television, DVD player, Mini Bar/Fridge, hairdryer, alarm clock radio and generous beverage tray.
Specialities
We would be delighted to help arrange any special outing or activity you wish to undertake whilst in North Devon. WIFI access available. Children from age 5 - 14 years stay half price with us and all 7 night stays receive a 5% discount. Small/Medium dogs are welcome at a small charge of £5 per night.
