Frognel Hall was first built in the 1830s and was a summer residence for a succession of aristocratic families before finally becoming a hotel in the early 1900s. We enjoy a fine reputation for our delicious food and guests are welcome to enjoy a glass or two of wine in the attractive restaurant whilst savouring a choice from the table d'hote or a la carte menus. We also offer an interesting selection of vegetarian dishes and happily cater for special diets. A children's menu is also available for our younger patrons. Bar snacks are available throughout the day. The hotel is tucked away in a quieter part of town yet is close to all of Torquay's attractions. There is ample parking available on site and a bus and taxi service operates between the hotel and town. The hotel is perfect for those who like to be near the action, without actually being in the thick of it.

Frognel Hall has 26 en-suite guest bedrooms, each one different from the other. Each is complete with TV and tea and coffee making facilities; some are on the ground floor and many of the others are accessible by a passenger lift. Several rooms have views over the bay. Two rooms have 4 poster beds for that extra bit of luxury.
