The Haytor Hotel is a Victorian villa set in beautiful gardens and is located in a conservation area on the leafy Meadfoot Road just 300 metres from central Torquay. A short stroll in the opposite direction brings you to the award winning Meadfoot Beach and the coastal paths with magnificent views. Torquay is perhaps the best known of the resorts making up what is known as the English Riviera and the hotel is superbly placed for enjoying all that the town has to offer. Guests of the hotel have the best of both worlds, close proximity to the town centre and its wide variety of amenities in one direction, and the beaches, cliffs and bays in the other.

Begin each day with a traditional full English breakfast served in the elegant dining room overlooking the hotel gardens or enjoy a continental breakfast delivered directly to your room. At the end of the day, relax with a drink in the licensed bar where you will find a wide choice of beverages and a lap top for guests' use, enabling you to check your emails in comfortable surroundings. All of the rooms in the Haytor Hotel were totally refurbished to a high standard in 2008. Our double en-suite rooms can be found on the ground. first and second floors whilst the single rooms are situated on the second floor and have glimpses of the sea and town.

Specialities

In keeping with the calm and peaceful ambiance of the hotel, we do not accept guests under the age of twelve years. For the comfort and safety of all guests, the accommodation is fully non smoking throughout.
