Situated in Devonshire's heartland you will find the working farm Hele Barton, where you have a choice of a two bedroomed thatched cottage sleeping 5 + a cot or two bedroomed barn conversion sleeping up to seven guests. Both are equipped to the highest standards, with full disabled facilities at Stable Lodge. Well behaved pets are welcome at Thatched Cottage only by prior agreement. These outstanding properties can be booked individually or together. Please enquire for large parties on booking.

The excellent location means there is plenty to see and do. The busy market town of tiverton with its local markets is only twenty minutes away and the busy city of Exeter is only a few miles further with all the hustle and bustle shops and nightlife you could ever need. Staying more local there are various local pubs all offering local ales and country fare. Hele barton is a working farm so there is plenty too see from lambing in spring to harvesting late summer. Country persuits are part of life in this devon area, so be prepared to join in.

White Witch Cottage has a double & triple bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and 3 washroom facilities, enclosed garden with picnic table and chairs. Stable Lodge has 2 family bedrooms sleeping up to 7 with provision for downstairs bedroom for disabled guests. Fully equipped disabled bathroom facilities, open plan kitchen dining room and patio area with table, chairs and BBq.

Specialities

Stable lodge has full disabled facilities. We are a working farm and always welcome visitors to gain an insight into the farms day to day running. Beds will be made up for your arrival plus towels. We also provide milk for a welcome cup of tea or coffee.Fresh flowers. The latest local TV guide and eggs from our own hens when we have them.
