The park has organic gardens to wander through, nature walks to enjoy, craft studio's to browse and horse drawn Victorian carriages are on hand in the village to give you a unique touring experience. A short stroll from the house takes you to the famous thatched tavern, The Drum Inn, where you can enjoy excellent food while admiring the landscaped gardens and beautiful views. With it's pretty thatched cottages, Cockington Village is the perfect, peaceful base for your holiday to the English Riviera with Torquay and all it's attractions just a short distance away. The helpful staff at Lanscombe House are always on hand with help and advice on planning your activities when visiting the area and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Lanscombe House is the former Dowagers House to the Cockington Court estate and offers eight indiviually designed ensuite bedrooms, a sunny breakfast room, elegant guest lounge and a cosy bar. Parking is easily available at the house. We ask our guests to respect the peaceful ambience we strive to create and unfortunately the hotel is not suitable environment for young, boisterous children. We do however happily provide facilities, including cots, for babies and well behaved children are welcome. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets at the hotel.
