Lower Hearson Farm is a working smallholding set in thirteen acres of gardens, field and woodland. Set in the heart of the North Devon countryside, it's perfect for a relaxing holiday with easy access to the North Devon Coast and Barnstaple (5 miles away). Our five holiday cottages are surrounded by two acres of gardens making this a safe place for children. All these charming cottages are graded ETC 4 stars for superior quality. The farm holiday complex benefits from superb leisure facilities including an outdoor covered swimming pool and a pool table, a table tennis table, table top football, darts, board games, videos and books for your use. Guests also have access to a charming garden, with a well equipped kids play area which includes a sandpit and trampoline. Fishing, golf, and horse riding are all available nearby.

The cottages are ideal for both couples and families. Primrose Cottage sleeps 4 guests, and is a beautifully converted stone built old North Devon farm building with a secluded entrance. There is a comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, TV, video and mini Hi-Fi. Included is a dining area and newly refurbished fully-fitted kitchen including electric hob and built in oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Upstairs there is one double bedroom leading into one twin bedroom and a newly fitted bathroom comprising bath, shower attachment, wc and wash basin. The property is fully centrally heated. Larger Fuchsia Cottage sleeps 6 guests and is surrounded with flowers in the summer time. This cottage has three bedrooms. The Annex is also available, and offers comfortable accommodation for your holiday or short break in North Devon. We accept well behaved dogs

Included is a spacious dining area and fully-fitted kitchen including electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Upstairs there is one double bedroom leading into one twin bedroom and a bathroom comprising bath, shower attachment, wc and wash basin. The property is fully centrally heated. Roundhouse Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage for 2, plus one cot and is constructed from local stone. Inclusive is a shower room, newly fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and breakfast bar. The comfortable sitting room has a wood burner, TV, video and mini Hi-Fi. It is perfect for couples, or can be used as an annexe to Orchard or other cottages for extended families on holiday. All the accommodation is on the ground floor and the property is centrally heated.

Rose Barn can accommodate 7, or occasionally 9, and is newly available to let from 1st April 2006. This is a beautifully converted stone built old North Devon farm building with its own private parking and patio area. There is a comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, TV, Video, Freeview and mini Hi-Fi. A telephone is provided for incoming calls only. The fitted kitchen includes electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge-freezer. A conservatory leads from the kitchen to the large separate dining room which has a sofa bed for the occasional use of two people. This area also has an adjoining bathroom. Also downstairs is a twin bedroom with a newly fitted en-suite bathroom. Upstairs has one double bedroom, a bedroom with three single beds and a family bathroom. All bathrooms comprise bath, shower attachment, wc and hand basin. This spacious property has full central heating throughout.
