“The best of both worlds” is how our guest describes Pickwell Barton cottages. These well-equipped 3 bedroom cottages sleep 2-8 people. All three are situated on our working farm a 10/15-minute walk across our fields to Putsborough and Woolacombe sands, ideal for surfing. At Saunton you have the Championship Golf Course and Braunton Burrows Biosphere Reserve - a special place for people and nature. The South West Coast Path that runs through the bottom of our farm (and many footpaths on our farm) gives the walker we think some of the most spectacular views of the North Devon coast line.

Pickwell is a small hamlet quietly situated at the back of Putsborough with our fields extending down to the beach, just a mile from the beautiful villages of Georgeham and Croyde which offer Churches, gift shops, a collection of pubs all offering good food with gardens or conservatries for children, surf schools and shops, riding stables and a variety of other things to do. Enjoy listening to the sea, and watching the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitats. The magnificent sunset over Lundy Island is not to be missed and can be seen from our fields.
