The town of Brixham offers a true taste of Devon. It's steeped in history, dating back at least to the Saxon times, and it's had a long past with a trade in fishing. It offers a bustling harbour, charming buildings, independent shops and attractions including a replica of The Golden Hind, the ship of Sir Francis Drake. Brixham remains a working fishing port, and is a popular place for sailing, fishing, diving and swimming, with a beautiful sea front which can be seen from Sampford House. Our B&B is close to top family attractions including Paignton Zoo and the Dartmouth Steam Railway, and is an 18th Century listed fisherman's house that first perfectly into this atmospheric town.
Sampford House features a selection of twin and double en-suite bedrooms. Our rooms all include flat-screen TVs, hairdryers and alarm clocks, and all come with complimentary toiletries and refreshments. Rooms are individually furnished and spacious, and have harbour views. Our dining room, likewise, overlooks the harbour. You'll enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast with views of the boats as the fishermen start their day.
