Set within prime National Trust South Devon walking territory, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Port Light Hotel is the perfect choice for short breaks and holidays with dogs and makes a great base for a family holiday, featuring an on-site adventure playground and garden gate leading out to fields ideal for family games.

Choose from our selection of 7 pet friendly en-suite rooms including family, twin and double rooms, all with glorious sea views and two on the ground floor with their own furnished patio spaces. Room 7 also includes its own private porch. Contemporary in style and all with their own unique style, in-room facilities include free WiFi internet access, flat-screen televisions and refreshment trays. We also provide trays for pet food bowls and muddy boots! Additional accommodation is offered in our self-catering cottages located nearby.

Pets are warmly welcomed, especially dogs – we just ask that dogs be kept on leads in the hotel at all times. We’ve won an award for being ‘the most pet friendly hotel in the UK and it’s no charge for all our furry four legged guests. An outside dog washing area, a pet food fridge in the residents’ hallway and pet friendly rooms with large trays for pet food bowls are all available. Unique dining area where residents can dine with their dogs! Most local beaches are dog friendly.
