Drake's former home, Buckland Abbey is conveniently close to the Rosemont and the B&B occupies a superb, prominent position in the picturesque village of Yelverton. Guests have easy access to some of Devon's finest golf courses nearby. Start the day with a delicious breakfast from our extensive breakfast menu which includes pancakes and maple syrup and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as the traditional favourites. Our breakfast ingredients are organic and locally sourced wherever possible.
The guesthouse offers pretty views overlooking the village green and the moorland of Dartmoor National Park. We're superbly situated for exploring and enjoying the outstanding beauty of the Dartmoor National Park, with easy access to Tavistock and South to Plymouth. There is ample parking for all of our guests and we welcome children and well behaved dogs. For the comfort and safety of all of our guests the accommodation is fully non smoking throughout. Each of our rooms have been recently refurbished to include en-suite facilities, Freeview colour TV, Fairtrade beverages and lots of luxury touches to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable. Most rooms now have LCD TV, DVD players and digital radios for your entertainment.
