Valley Springs lies just inland from Slapton Sands and its well known Ley nature reserve. Set 100 yards off a narrow, high hedged Devon lane, it's surrounded by beautiful South Hams countryside. Valley Springs is a fishing paradise! Fish for carp and coarse fish on our Lower Lake or try the fishing on Lodge Lake, for brown rainbow or American brooke trout. The stone cottages are converted from former farm buildings, and offer all modern amenities in an idyllic rural setting. They nestle around a naturally spring fed duck-pond, home to koi carp. Children love to feed the ducks and doves. The pure quality of the water running through our valley means the fish can grow to enormous sizes and the fishing is excellent. Valley Springs has delightful, sunny, open gardens, floodlit at night and guests have access to a heated (8'2") Indoor Pool with Sauna and Solarium Bed. We have 22 acres all together, with a nature trail that meanders through a beautiful bluebell and sweet chestnut wood, down to the fishing lakes. Well behaved pets are most welcome at Valley Springs.
