The Woolacombe Bay was built in the late 1880's and today magnificently couples the history of the building with the luxuries of modern day living. The hotel enjoys a splendid location in six acres of grounds leading directly down to Woolacombe's Blue Flag Beach, perfect for swimming and surfing. Start the day in Doyle's Restaurant and enjoy a full English breakfast whilst taking in views over the bay. Dinner is also available and is made using the best local produce cooked to perfection.

The hotel has excellent amenities, including plenty to keep the sports oriented entertained. There are floodlit tennis courts, squash courts, a comprehensive gym, aerobics classes, a climbing wall, nine hole pitch and putt, indoor and outdoor heated pools, table tennis, steam room, spa bath and sauna. Alternatively, you can choose a more relaxing option and spend time in the Haven Spa under the expert hands of the fully qualified Elemist therapists for massage, facials and all beauty treatments.

Rooms Description

We have a total of 63 en-suite bedrooms all equipped with colour TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and ironing centre. All front rooms have a sea view and the remaiing overlook the village and surrounding National Trust parkland. Superior rooms have prime position, daily linen change, daily newspaper, bathrobes and luxury toiletries, DVD player and breakfast in bed service.

Specialities

There is plenty to keep our younger visitors entertained, including an adventure playground, swings and morning creche for the under 5's. In the early evenings we have entertainers, discos and supervised movies. Baby listening devices are also available.
