Appledore Cottages provide a selection of pleasant, fully equipped self catering cottages within the stunning coastline of North Devon in Appledore. We can comfortably accommodate couples, families and larger groups. All cottages feature a secure, walled courtyard or garden so you can safely bring your pets along and all the local beaches are pet friendly too. Appledore is the perfect destination for golf, fishing, walking and surfing. For the keen walker the Tarka Trail is easily accessible from here and golf is available at the Links golf course at Westward Ho! North Devon's Biosphere Reserve is well worth a visit too!

If you fancy an evening away from the kitchen, you can visit one of the many pubs overlooking the beach and estuary for a delicious evening meal or bar snack. Additionally there are teashops and restaurants in the village. The cottages are a perfect base for visiting Elliot Gallery, Marwood Hill Gardens, North Devon Farm Park, Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Hartland Abbey and Gardens, Lyn & Exmoor Museum and many more. The unique village of Clovelly is only 12 miles away too! How will you fit it all in?

We have a selection of 8 cottages sleeping between 2 and 17 people in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore. Choose from Myrtle Cottage, Gannets Annexe, Bimbo's Cottage, Dolphin Cottage, Trawlers Cottage, Rose Cottage and Mermaid Cottage. Myrtle Cottage is split into two properties and can be linked for large groups. The main part of the house features 4 bedrooms, off street parking, a large kitchen, dining room and living room. Gannets Annexe is part of Myrtle Cottage with a separate entrance and has 2 bedrooms plus attic family room, sleeps 5, ideal for children, teenagers etc, living room, kitchen and dining room. Rose Cottage sleeps 10 and has 4 bedrooms including 2 doubles, 2 twins and a sofa bed and a large living area with glorious open fireplace and there is also a large walled garden. Please note that Rose Cottage is situated directly behind Myrtle/Gannet Cottage and therefore they can be booked together for a party of 27 people. Bimbo's Cottage is a stone's throw from the beach and can sleep up to 6 people with s bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms. Dolphin Cottage sleeps up to 6 people with 2 bedrooms and a sofabed in the lounge. Trawlers Cottage is a pretty fisherman's cottage with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people, close to Appledore's beach. Mermaids cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Cobbles Cottage sleeps 6 in 1 double and 2 twin rooms.
