Merlewood Cottage offers guests luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation ideally placed in the South Devon village of Haberton near Totnes. Once part of the old village hall, this attractive B&B is within easy reach of Dartmoor to the north, the glorious coastal walks and beaches of South Hams, and the historical city of Plymouth. Choose from two stylishly appointed guest rooms, both beautifully decorated and furnished, with private or en-suite bathrooms. One even has a balcony! Home-cooked, hearty breakfasts are served in either the country style kitchen or on the terrace that overlooks the cottage's delightful garden and the surrounding countryside beyond. There's lots to do locally, from horse riding to wandering around the picturesque harbour in Dartmouth and arts and crafts shopping in Totnes.

Two uniquely styled double bedrooms are offered, both with commanding views over the village of Harberton and the countryside beyond. Both bedrooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Please note that both rooms have double beds only, no twin-bedded facilities. The "Provence" bedroom is an ensuite, with shower, whilst The "Balcony" bedroom has it's own separate private bathroom, with bath and shower. Discounts may be available for a stay exceeding four nights and single occupancy is by arrangement. A supplement applies for a one-night stay. The quiet village of Harberton, with its beautiful 13th century St Andrews Church, is ideally situated, with the famous town of Totnes being just over two miles away. Harberton also boasts one of the best pubs in South Hams, the fascinating 12th century Church House Inn, just 100 yards away from Merlewood Cottage B&B. This pub serves excellent food and wine and a selection of well-kept real ales are always available. Private off-road parking is provided for guests along with use of the garden.
