8 newly renovated 4 star luxury holiday cottages set in a peaceful and tranquil 42 acre oasis of woodland and pasture with stunning panoramic views of Dartmoor

Set high up on a hillside above the popular holiday town of Paignton, Newbarn Farm is a little oasis of tranquillity. As you meander down the private drive to the farm, you'll discover why so many of our visitors often remark how surprising it is to find such a peaceful haven just a stone's throw from so many amenties. And once here you will be able to take in some of the vistas that make Newbarn Farm so special. We have a little something for children of all ages with two play areas - including an adult sized tramopline with safety net, climbing wall, slides, many ball games - such as football, basketball, cricket, volleyball and even kites to fly. Plus 42 acres of woodland and pasture to roam and 6 lakes stocked with mirror carp, common carp, leather, carp, ghost carp, roach, rudd, bream, tench and perch. Guests are welcome to fish at their leisure.

All of our 8 self-catering cottages are graded 4 STARS by the English Tourist Council thus offering comfort of an exceptionally high standard. Sleeping from as little as 2 to as many as 12, Newbarn Farm can offer flexible accommodation to suit your individual holiday requirements. All guests receive full corporate membership for a nearby leisure centre (only 1 mile away) which includes free unlimited use of the indoor heated swimming pool, children's pool, sauna, steam room and full equipped gym. Lambs frequent the farm's pastures from early spring to mid summer, pigs can be seen foraging outside amongst the free range chickens in summer and the whole area is abundant with wildlife!

Rooms Description

Six of our cottages have just been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. Co-ordinated furnishings, themes of contemporay meets rustic, fully lined curtains throughout hanging from individully designed and hand crafted curtain poles. Pictures adorn the walls all printed from spectacular images taken on site. Comfortable sofas and beds just to sink into after a day of exploring, relaxing. Rustic style pine furniture throughout. Just luxurious. Four cottages have far reaching views of Dartmoor, breathtaking when you draw back those curtains in the morning. The other four have views of the properties lakes.

If views were to taxed it would be priceless! All of our guests have the opportunity to pre order a hand picked hamper from our Taste of Devon range - offering local produce form the 'The Bakery', 'The Bar', 'The Diary', The Field Counter' and 'The Potting Shed' - very popular. We also have fishing on 6 ponds/lakes open to day ticket fishing and residents. The lakes are stocked with coarse fish including carp, roach, tench, perch, bream.
