An extensive leisure complex is also on-site for the exclusive use of guests. The many beautiful beaches, coastal walks and other interesting attractions in South Hams are easily accessible including the market towns of Kingsbridge and Totnes on the Dart River, both of which have excellent shopping facilities and plenty of restaurants and pubs. These two delightful cottages offer high quality self-catering accommodation set within historic Stancombe Manor which includes buildings dating back to medieval times and can be traced back to records in the Domesday Book of 1086. The Dartmoor National Park is a short drive to the north offering opportunities for riding and walking and there are several Devon golf courses in the surrounding area.

The secluded hamlet of Stancombe Manor includes superb leisure facilities for the exclusive use of guests. Facilities include a recently refurbished indoor heated swimming pool (measuring 6 metres wide by 13 metres long), a sauna and new changing rooms, outdoor tennis court, snooker room with a full sized snooker table, games room incorporating table tennis, billiards and darts, pitch and putt golf and an outdoor children's play area. All these facilities are for the use of the residents.
