The Swan Hotel is a delightful historic hotel in central rural Devon, and happens to be one of the oldest original buildings in the charming Devon village of Bampton. Built in the 14th century the original rear portion of the property was constructed to house the stonemasons who built the adjacent church. Many of the original features remain today and the building retains its old charm and character, combined with all modern amenities. Guests can relax in our warm and friendly bar and spacious dining room. We offer a wide range of wines, beers, cider and spirits and excellent home cooked meals.
The Swan Hotel's superb restaurant offers a choice of dining options, whether you are looking for a tasty snack, light lunch, morning coffee, afternoon tea or a three course dinner. Wherever possible locally sourced fresh ingredients are used. We also welcome the opportunity to discuss with you menus and prices for parties and special occasions. Takeaway Service is also available upon request. Special Three course Sunday Lunch meals are not to be missed, and amazingly only £9.75 per person!

The Swan Hotel is easily found in the middle of Bampton next to St Michaels Church who's Tower can be seen on all approaches to the Town. Bampton lies on the B3227 Taunton to Barnstaple road and close to the A 396 Tiverton to Minehead Road.
